A global supply chain consulting firm is looking for an IT Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join their team under the Technology Category Director!
The company is looking for a focused individual that has procurement experience for the software category, especially complex software, in a fast-paced environment.
This role offers the opportunity to grow within an organization while expanding your knowledge in complex software throughout multiple sites.
Responsibilities :
- Preform category management duties for the software category
- Execute strategic sourcing events from start to finish
- Deliver exceptional customer experience for a variety of stakeholders globally
- Determine, execute, and present sourcing strategy, timeline, and action plan for assigned sourcing projects
- Lead RFIs and compare RFQ responses in a structured format to clearly show stakeholders the strengths and weaknesses of the proposals
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure budgets are met
Requirements :
- 5 years of strategic procurement experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with ERP systems and e-Sourcing systems
- Experience in the software category
- Strong category management experience
- Experience developing RFPs and running sourcing events
- Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills
