JOB PURPOSE
MSC Cruises, the world's third largest cruise line brand is expanding its Marketing department.
The Post Booking Communications & Guest Experience Manager is responsible for maximizing pre-paid revenue for U.S. and Canada guests booked with MSC Cruises via Direct Marketing and for improving the booked guest experience with a comprehensive communications strategy.
This candidate will be part of the Marketing team while supporting a new Onboard Revenue business unit within the commercial organization.
LI-LC1. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days / week in office, in Miami.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Work cross functionally within the U.S. team to identify opportunities to enhance the post booking communication
Develop post booking strategy and lead all post booking communication to maximize booked guest revenues
Ensure that all communication across marketing channels is clear to minimize impact to the call center
Compose well-written, on-brand messaging of post booking information
Execute all post booking email communications inclusive of both marketing and informative emails and adapt communications as required
Analyze effectiveness of post booking communication and continuously optimize messaging to maximize pre-paid revenues
Share reporting on effectiveness of marketing efforts with leadership team
Develop, maintain and distribute communication calendars and materials to internal stakeholders
Develop, test and learn strategies and deliver insights
QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)
Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
Minimum 6 years of experience in commercially oriented roles such as marketing or revenue management
Experience working with the development and implementation of direct marketing (email / SMS) campaigns
Experience working closely with creating team, briefing and reviewing
Exceptional communication abilities, including writing, speaking, and active listening
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively, proactively, and effectively to meet collective goals within tight deadlines
Possess strategic thinking skills for finding solutions to problems
