Job Description / Job Duties
As a Merchant Account Executive, you will be developing new business through in-house leads, referral programs and a cold calling process.
In addition, you will be increasing sales through your established client base as they refer business.
- Develop new clients through prospecting and in-house leads.
- Self-source outside referrals and leads.
- Develop and execute sales strategies; utilize available resources effectively.
- Achieving revenue growth and goals set by the company.
- Fully understand the significance behind the merchant processing services, Point-of-Sales System and other Alliance Bankcard Services products and services.
- Using the company provided system to develop and maintain a comprehensive lead management process and supporting documentation.
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude, highly motivated and success-driven.
Responsibilities
- Present, promote and sell products / services using reasoned arguments to existing and prospective customers showing them how our products / services make their businesses better.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing / potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Reach out to customer leads through lead generation and cold calling initiatives.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Analyze the territory / market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
- Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
- Continuously improve through feedback.
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.

Preferred skills
- Sales experience, Restaurant POS Experience are required.
- Restaurant Experience are required.
- Experience in selling Merchant Bankcard or Point of Sale system or related fields.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and influence skills.
- Effective planning, time management and organizational skills.
- Must have legal working status.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin and / or Cantonese).
