Moog Medical Devices Group designs is looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist. You will lead the development and sustainment of the EHS program in the Medical Devices, Salt Lake City Facility.
You will report to the Manager, Operations in a hybrid role in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will oversee the following EHS Categories : Health and Safety, Environmental, Dangerous Goods Transportation, and Emergency Planning.
To be considered for the Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, here's what you'll need to bring with you :
- BS in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences or related field or equivalent experience
- Three (3) years' experience in an EHS role
- Experience with EPA, NFPA, OSHA regulations
- Ability to relocate to the Salt Lake City, UT area
As a Environmental Health and Safety Specialist you will....
- Lead the EHS program at the Salt Lake City facility.
- Assess Federal and State regulations applicable to the facility and ensure they are met.
- Implement site specific EHS programs.
- Implement action plans for audit findings and incident reports.
- Lead Safety committee and site emergency planning.
- Conduct site reviews of chemical handling, storage and disposal.
- Review new products for environmental risks
