Position Summary
North Seattle College is looking to hire two Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 1 s in their Workforce Instruction Department.
Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Technology programs, who works in collaboration with the Watch Technology Faculty Coordinator and Instructors, the Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 1 will be responsible for providing various instructional and classroom support services.
These include individualized or group instruction of students in development of their learning skills; or working with faculty in preparing, modifying, and / or developing instructional programs, teaching aids, materials and equipment associated with the shop or classroom which require positions to have a technical knowledge of the discipline(s).
What you will be working on :
Prepare training materials for student exercises
Assist in evaluation of student work, providing detailed feedback
Answer student questions regarding theory and practical aspects of the curriculum; inventory and organize classroom supplies and consumables
Assess and maintain classroom equipment
Present on special topics as appropriate
Assist faculty in completing office and classroom duties as assigned

What you bring as a candidate : (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience)
Completion of technical school training (minimum 2 years)
Third-party certification with SAWTA, WOSTEP, CW21, etc.
Ability to provide clear technical instruction
Ability to understand watch technology curriculum and assessments
Demonstrated experience in communicating feedback effectively
Physical Requirements :
Ability to perform range of physical motions, exerting up to 25 pounds; lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds; standing, walking, sitting for long periods of time, kneeling, squatting, and stooping;
and traversing up and down stairs.
