An innovated and forward thinking manufacturing group in St. Charles, IL is seeking to hire an Accounting Specialist due to stable growth within the company.
Your primary responsibilities will include the complete processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
Core Responsibilities & Functions :
Enter, verify and process supplier invoices with proper coding and approvals in SAP
Post and prepare batches and check requests
Prepare weekly check runs, supplier payments and ACH files
Assemble and prepare customer invoices for weekly billing
Record and reconcile incoming payments, ACH, checks and wire transfers
Regular communication with customers for standard collections practices and resolution on past due invoices
Maintaining various AP / AR reports and spreadsheets weekly, monthly and quarterly through Excel
Participation in various audits, projects, and month-end close responsibilities
Reconcile payment accounts and expense reports
Process expenses and reimbursements monthly
Other responsibilities supporting the accounting department as needed
Our ideal candidate will have..
Confident skills in Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in accounting systems such as Concur, Oracle or SAP
Bachelor Degree in Accounting preferred or similar
Friendly, proactive, and dedicated team spirit, able to work cooperatively with different teams in collaborative environments
Meticulous eye for detail, accuracy and improving efficiencies
