If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for an Operations Finance Manager to join our team in Albany, OR.

This position will support our Red Bluff and Atacama plants and could sit in either Albany, OR, or Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role :

The Operations Finance Manager is an integral member of the Operations team that provides financial support and oversight to ensure proper accounting, controls, and solid decision-making.

This position will interact with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Safety, Quality, and Inventory Control. We embrace and accept individual experiences and backgrounds to achieve a diverse and inclusive workplace.

You will have the opportunity to :

  • Partner with Operations to help identify and implement cost savings initiatives.
  • Conduct the month-end plant close process and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance of internal controls and lead / support internal / external audits.
  • Support inventory management.
  • Manage Budgeting and Forecasting for the plant.
  • Analyze capital investment.
  • Manage the standard cost system including setting annual standards.
  • Support new product development.
  • Support Atacama integration in Finance and Accounting.
  • Review and reconcile data from legacy systems and ensure proper recording in SAP.
  • Provide reporting, data analytics, and forecasting to ensure consistent approach to other sites.
  • Act as business controller working with Corporate on revenue recognition accruals, balance sheet review, and P&L management for Atacama.
  • Provide guidance to other functions and perform ad hoc duties.

We need you to have :

  • BA / BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment in finance or accounting, cost accounting a plus.
  • Systems capabilities including ERP systems (SAP a plus), Hyperion, Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel is a must.
  • Soft Skills : Candidates with good communication, teamwork, and leadership skills combined with a curious and analytical nature thrive in our culture.

Icing on the cake :

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • CPA, CMA Certification.
  • Consumer packaged goods experience.
