Summary :
Collaborating with a team of skilled developers, the Mobile Developer Digital Product is responsible for supporting the mobile strategy for iOS and Android mobile applications by implementing frontend and backend feature sets using modern web technologies.
This role will work closely with the mobile development team, digital product owners, and user experience design lead to deliver a best-in-class mobile experience for patients, families, and staff.
The Mobile Developer will execute all phases of the application development process, including feasibility analysis, development, testing, deployment, tier II-III support, and future release road mapping.
This role will partner with the Mobile Solutions Architect to optimize user interface and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
- Create responsive web interfaces that work seamlessly across various devices and browsers
- Partner with mobile solution architect to translate business requirements into system improvements, contribute to data architecture solutions, document functional and non-functional requirements, and resolve support and maintenance issues
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and estimation discussions, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings
- Assist in the technical planning and processes associated with the implementation of new and optimized mobile self-service features, including code reviews and quality assurance activities
- Translate high-fidelity design assets into user interface components and flows, leveraging the design asset library for design consistency and speed to market
- Develop automated test scripts to increase the effectiveness of test coverage
- Partner with QA engineer to test feature sets against a user story’s acceptance criteria, troubleshoot and debug to optimize app performance and resolve defects found during user acceptance testing
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years of React proficiency in developing cross-platform native apps (Required)
- At least 3 years of experience programming in JavaScript or Typescript (Required)
- At least 3 years of experience in third-party libraries and APIs (Required)
- At least 3 years of experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies (Required)
EDUCATION
Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Preferred)
