Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Region Manager, Maintenance Manager II, the incumbent is responsible for implementing, evaluating, and sustaining major programs and maintenance policy in the Sutter / Sierra Region.

The incumbent will advise and consult with top-level district and statewide management, propose new programs, directions or legislation as appropriate.

A valid driver’s license is required. The position is based out of the Sutter / Sierra Region Office located in Nevada City, CA.

Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Maintenance Manager I exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.

g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and / or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions.

Working Conditions

Position located in Nevada City, Nevada County.

New toState candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification orminimum of alternate range when applicable.

Special Requirements

The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application.
