TextMyGov is a fast-growing Software as a Service (SaaS) company that offers a smart-texting solution to help government organizations connect with their communities.

We are looking for motivated and coachable Account Executives to join our rapidly growing team in Logan. This position offers uncapped earnings and a great chance to gain software sales experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting and cold-calling government agencies, building relationships with municipalities, giving virtual demonstrations, and managing the full sales cycle.

Compensation

  • $15-$17 per hour base pay, plus 40% commissions uncapped on annual recurring fee (average first-year income is $65,000 - $80,000 and 2nd-year income $80,000 - $100,000)
  • Bonuses for top salespeople

Responsibilities

  • Manage full sales cycle by prospecting and cold-calling government agencies (60-90 daily), setting virtual demos, and converting demos to proposals
  • Manage assigned territories throughout the U.S.
  • Utilize our CRM system, Pipedrive, to track contacts and daily KPIs
  • Work with sales management to develop sales leads and pipeline growth
  • Collaborate with sales management to learn and further develop sales, telephone, and demonstration skills

Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience is preferred but not required
  • A desire to learn and be open to feedback - coachability is essential
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to learn TextMyGov's software
  • Ability to master online sales tools for virtual demos (Zoom, Pipedrive)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Experience using CRM technology is preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated track record of hitting KPIs
  • Cold-calling experience is preferred
  • Must work onsite in Logan, UT

Schedule

  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Typical hours are 6 : 00 am - 3 : 00 pm or 7 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm
