Job Description
Tech Valley Talent (TVT) is an HBITS PRIME Vendor, and we have an opening for s Senior Business Analyst.
DURATION : 24 Months
LOCATION : Rensselaer, NY Onsite
Provide subject matter expertise and support to the OCFS IES project to ensure OCFS' needs are met on the project.
Qualifications
- Business Analyst - Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution.
- Senior 60 - 84 months : Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
- 60 months of experience working in a Child Welfare environment using the Welfare Management System (WMS) utilized by a local district (LDSS) and supporting its use.
- 60 months of experience working directly with users in a human services arena providing training or technical assistance with WMS.
- 60 months of child welfare or related experience interpreting regulations governing practice and program outcomes in relation to WMS and the populations it serves.
- 60 months of experience with using CONNECTIONS, the primary child welfare application for the state of New York.
- 60 months of experience leading or co-leading projects around WMS, IES, or other systems with an LDSS.
- Bachelor’s Degree
Day-to-Day tasks
- Attend meetings on the larger IES project to provide subject matter expertise as to their work with the WMS system.
- Assist the OCFS IES team and all of the other stakeholders in OCFS understand the needs of the local districts as far as what IES needs to do for them so that their needs are met.
- Help plan out needed system changes with IES project and its interfacing system such as CONNECTIONS.
