Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and in preparing basic financial reports.

Ensures ledgers accurately reflect the Agency’s financial position and performance; provides timely reports based on this information.

Conducts periodic internal audits of accounts and funds. Reviews budgets for optimum financial effectiveness. Produces various monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.

Reviews business contracts for conformance with policy, applicability and practicality. Performs accounting tasks related to one or more accounting functions such as monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring timely payment of obligations.

  • Supervises, assigns, plans, and schedules work of assigned personnel.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring curriculum plans in accordance with developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Communicating effectively with parents, staff, and the community, creating an inclusive, welcoming environment.
  • Intake and recertification of children
  • Participates in DRDP and ensures CDE requirements are met.
  • Ensures program goals and objectives are met.
  • Develops, schedules, and implements programs.
  • Coordinates participant recruitment and registration
  • Secures program supplies and equipment.
  • Provides safe environment for participants and staff.
  • Schedules outings and special events and plans and organizes special projects.
  • Ensures all paperwork is completed and submitted on time.
  • Assists in emergency situations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development or related field
  • At least four (4) years working in a licensed child care facility
  • Supervisory experience required Supervise two staff & 40 children
  • Has a thorough understanding of child development principles.
  • Is a leader, problem-solver, communicator, and motivator.
  • Must hold a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit
  • Current Infant and Adult CPR and Pediatric First Aid certificate
  • Knowledge of Community Care Licensing, Title 22 Rules & Regulations
  • Must have TB clearance
