LHH is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located near Carmel, Indiana.

This is a true Generalist position where you will be responsible for employee relations and engagement, HR compliance, talent acquisition and onboarding, LOA, benefits administration, etc.
The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $85,000-95,000 per year and includes several medical insurance options, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for employee engagement and serving as the primary point of contact for all HR-related issues
- Coordinate human resources strategies including employment processing, compensation, health and safety, benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, and retention
- Serve as a liaison between the management staff and all employees by appropriately addressing questions and helping to resolve work-related issues
- Source, recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates
- Develop and facilitate onboarding programs for new hires
- Complete paperwork for LOA, Workman's Comp, etc.
- Assist with performance management and evaluate and recommend training resources to support employee development
- Be a difference maker and leader for a growing facility
- Understand the business operations, employee population, and how HR can provide value-added services
- Proactively identify issues and concerns and then create and implement corrective actions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Ethics, or related field or a PHR / SHRM Certification is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience within a manufacturing, warehousing, and / or distribution facility is required
- Ideal candidates will have experience using an HRIS
- Must have experience with work-related employee issues in a manufacturing, distribution, and / or warehousing operation
- Must possess the ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and integrity while executing responsibilities
- Must have a core knowledge of and ability to collaborate with all areas within HR such as payroll, compensation, employee relations, and benefits packages
- Must have demonstrated ability to influence and align organizational strategies to maximize talent capability and behaviors
- Must have experience in partnering with colleagues in all levels of an organization to drive priorities
