Manager, Paid Media
The Manager, Paid Media will work closely with key business stakeholders, including the marketing, ecommerce, strategy teams, and outside agencies to plan and execute consumer facing paid media campaigns to drive the Aaron’s business.
As a team contributor, this person performs tasks effectively, develops collaborative relationships with team members, displays clear communication and acts proactively.
This includes being able to multitask, problem solve, and manage multiple timelines. The right candidate is a self-starter, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to connect data points to tell a cohesive story.
They will work closely with different teams to ensure consistency through all media channels and will responsible for the day-to-day management and partnership with our third party agencies.
They are passionate about all media types, efficient campaigns, testing, and connected customer experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Concept, plan and manage all paid media campaigns across OLV, CTV, radio, display, native, social, and search
- Manage day-to-day relationships with all media partners including traditional and DSPs, Agency trading desks and other buying platforms
- Analyze, negotiate and execute paid media campaigns.
- Evaluate potential new partners, platforms and opportunities.
- Develop testing approach to identify efficiency, incrementality, and scalability and improve conversion.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive research to identify opportunities for expansion.
Required Education, Experience, and Certifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in performance marketing or paid media with an emphasis on SEM and SMM.
- Proficiency in marketing tech solutions such as pixels, tracking, web analytics, and Google Analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in marketing or advertising
Required Skills and Competencies
- Verbal and written communication skills and storytelling ability
- Experience working on CRO across campaigns, ad groups and landing pages
- Ability to build reports and draw key insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong data and analytical skills. Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and translate into actionable insights
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines Strong project management skills, including managing programs end-to-end and prioritizing competing workstreams.
Curiosity and ability to dig to understand customer thoughts and perceptions and demonstrate those to internal and external teams
