Job Summary :
The Loan Operations Specialist I provides support to the Consumer and Real Estate Lending areas and their customers as it pertains to all aspects of consumer, mortgage and construction loan processing.
Primary Functions and / or Responsibilities :
- Process payments and advances on all types of consumer loans
- Input consumer loans, mortgage loans and construction loans into the FIS system
- Process all maintenance to the FIS system pertaining to all loan types
- Pay all hazard, flood, PMI & out-of-state property taxes for all customers who escrow
- Quote and process payoffs on all loan types
- Process all secondary market loan activity to the IRS system, including : sold / loan fundings, wire account activity, general ledger entries and 1098 / 1099-S entries
- Ensure all loan customers provide proof of insurance on an annual basis and, if not, force place insurance as required by the Bank’s guidelines
- Provide customer service to both internal and external customers with questions on all loan types and research all inquires on all note types
- Process Maintenance Cross Check Report on all consumer note types
- Other duties as assigned
Education and / or Experience :
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year of loan processing experience required
- Knowledge of Consumer and Mortgage Loan documentation and processing
Hiring Salary Range
The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer.
In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and / or commissions.
Hiring Salary Range : $21.25 - $24.75 (Annualized at 40 hours per week : $44,200 - $51,480)
