Principal Reporting & Prism Consultant: State/Local Government
About the Role
The Principal Reporting & Prism Consultant works closely with our State and Local Government customers to deliver relevant Reporting and Prism solutions specific to their objectives.
Lead and project manage Reporting and / or Prism workstream(s), hitting delivery dates and driving results
Conduct discovery sessions to develop and document a thorough understanding of customers’ Reporting & Prism needs
Design and implement Reports and Prism Use Cases to address complex customer requirements
Assist customer in testing Workday Reporting & Prism solutions and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure post-production success
Internal initiatives, process improvement, and partnering with Product team on an ad-hoc basis
About You

You are curious about how things work and love solving puzzles. You should be a detail-oriented self-starter who can drive ideas from design through implementation.
Basic Qualifications
- In your resume, include descriptions of at least 2 Prism Use Cases that you have built
- A minimum of 2 years of experience leading Workday Prism Analytics workstreams
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with Workday Prism Analytics, including complex joins and calculations
- A minimum of 6 years of experience with Workday Report Writer and across Workday HCM and Financials
- A minimum of 7 years of Technical Consulting experience OR 5 years of State and / or Local Government experience
Other Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Workday Payroll Reporting
- Workday Certification in Prism Analytics
- Project management skills, ability to multitask and work on multiple engagements simultaneously
- Ability to distill complex concepts into understandable customer-facing presentations for non-technical audiences
- Strong critical thinking skills so as to understand complex, technical process issues and facilitate / influence decision making
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting the fun and diverse workplace that is part of Workday’s VIBE culture
- Ability to travel when required

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission / bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
