Responsibilities
- Client Engagement : Proactively reach out to potential and existing clients to assess their insurance needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Sales Development : Meet or exceed sales targets by understanding and presenting appropriate products, including auto, home, life, and business insurance.
- Policy Management : Assist clients with policy updates, renewals, and claims to ensure their needs are consistently met.
- Training and Development : Participate in structured training programs to gain a thorough understanding of Farmers Insurance products, services, and agency operations.
- Mentorship Participation : Work directly with the agency owner, receiving one-on-one mentorship to build essential skills in sales strategy, client service, and agency management.
- Community Involvement : Represent the agency at community events, fostering relationships to support agency growth and promote a positive brand image.
- Operational Support : Assist with day-to-day agency tasks, including administrative duties, to gain comprehensive insight into running an insurance agency.
- Path to Agency Ownership : Progressively take on responsibilities with a goal of preparing for agency ownership, gaining both experience and skills needed for long-term success.
Requirement
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent; some college or a bachelors degree in a related field is a plus.
- Licensing : Ability to obtain relevant insurance licenses (Property & Casualty) within a specified timeframe.
- Sales Experience : Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a similar field is preferred but not required.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients.
- Motivation and Drive : A goal-oriented mindset with a passion for professional growth and a commitment to learning.
