What the key responsibilities are :

  • Lead and manage a team of five to six finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high performing environment.
  • Lead the financial service team, including payroll, reporting, auditing and compliance.
  • Serve as a change management leader, working closely with various departments to ensure seamless financial operations and processes.
  • Utilize expertise in Workday and other related systems to streamline financial processes.
  • Board relations and presentations.
  • Lead strategic acquisition, merger and divestiture of business lines.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support organizational growth and sustainability.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the revenue lifecycle in senior living and healthcare services.
  • Ensure seamless vendor and 3rd party contracting.
  • Manage and Lead revenue cycle, payor contracting.
  • Budget development and budget analytics.

What the required qualifications are :

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; master's degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a leadership role in senior healthcare financial, post-acute, or LTC setting -preferably in a nonprofit setting.
  • Proven ability to manage complex organizations with multiple service lines and companies.
  • Strong leadership and political acumen to navigate a diverse organization and bring groups together.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Workday is a plus.
