Manufacturing Electrical Engineer - PLC AutomationInstrumentation

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing ElectricalEngineer with expertise in PLCprogramming automation systems and instrumentation.

The idealcandidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment withPLC Instrumentation and Automation experience.

This role requires astrong understanding of industrial control systems a proactiveproblemsolving attitude and the ability to collaborate effectivelywith crossfunctional teams.

Responsibilities :

Design develop and implement PLCbased control systems formanufacturing processes.

Program and troubleshoot PLCs(Programmable Logic Controllers) such as AllenBradley Siemens orsimilar platforms.

Configure and integrate automationsystems including HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and industrial networks(Ethernet / IP Profibus etc.).

Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to optimize manufacturing processes improveefficiency and ensure product quality.

Specify selectand install instrumentation such as sensors actuators andtransmitters.

Conduct testing and validation ofelectrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance withspecifications and regulations.

Provide technicalsupport during commissioning startup and ongoing productionphases.

Maintain documentation including electricaldrawings schematics and technical manuals.

Requirements :

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Engineering Technologyor Manufacturing Engineering Technology. Will consider ASEE degreeor experience in lieu of a degree.

210 years ofexperience in a manufacturing environment preferably in rolesinvolving PLC programming automation andinstrumentation.

Proficiency in programming PLCs(AllenBradley Siemens etc.) and familiarity with industrialautomation standards and protocols.

Experience with HMIdevelopment SCADA systems and industrial networking.

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a handson approachto troubleshooting.

Ability to work independently aswell as collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellentcommunication skills and the ability to interface with stakeholdersat all levels.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements andsafety standards applicable to electrical systems inmanufacturing.

PreferredSkills :

Familiarity with LeanManufacturing principles and continuous improvementmethodologies.

Experience with motion control systems(servo drives motors) and robotics.

Knowledge ofpredictive maintenance technologies and IoT (Internet of Things)applications in manufacturing.

Project management skillsand experience leading small to mediumsized projects.
