WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

This full-time healthcare position works Tuesday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m .

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

In your role as a Behavioral Health Liaison, your days often begin with responding to individuals in mental health crises, offering counseling, and connecting them to the help they need.

You navigate our Electronic Record system with ease, ensuring accurate data entry as you work efficiently to meet our standards.

At our Walk-in Center, hospitals, or ER, you greet clients warmly, completing evaluations promptly while keeping up the quality of data entry.

Team collaboration is key, and you eagerly participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and supervisory sessions as required.

For those with the experience and approval, providing Clinical Review and staffing cases with our experts is also part of your role.

Your day extends beyond the office, as you greet and orient clients to our open access / crisis services and maintain positive interactions with law enforcement.

You provide essential services daily at the Crisis Stabilization Unit and work closely with clients as they are admitted to or discharged from hospitals, expertly linking them to resources in the community.

Care management is a crucial facet of your role, and you diligently work through lists to re-engage clients who haven't had contact in a while.

You collaborate with outpatient locations to ensure continued engagement, focusing on person-centered care plans. Identifying and facilitating access to community support is another vital aspect, ensuring individuals have access to the resources they need.

You provide high-touch, in-person support, offering caregiver counseling and training, and you're always ready to lend a hand in crisis situations.

Transitional care is a priority, as you contribute to discharge plans after hospitalization and assure timely access to follow-up care.

You're also involved in health promotion, educating patients and their families on independent living skills with achievable, aspirational goals.
