SUMMARY :
Home Game Video Streaming Assistance
This position will largely act as a resource for assisting with home game live video streaming for the public to view. This person will be responsible for operating a video camera and also producing the live stream using a MacBook.
It needs to be someone that will pay very close attention to detail because of the responsibility of solely making sure the public has a great viewing experience.
It will require basic computer skills and knowledge of internet connectivity.
Office Assistant
This position acts as a general assistant to the department performing clerical office functions related to daily operations as well as assisting the department.
Social Media Contributor
This position will be asked to perform a task of updating social media channels for the athletic department during home events.
There will be in-game content being created including live game tweets and graphic creation for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating files and record keeping systems.
- Generate reports, correspondence, presentation materials, spreadsheets and graphics, and other materials using various software programs.
- Assist with special events and functions as needed.
- Handle documents while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
- Conduct special projects, research and assignments as needed.
- Provide GREAT customer service, anticipating and exceeding the needs of our customers.
- Demonstrate and promote the University Cultural Values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist with game set up and take down.
- Copy and collate documents.
- Understand and abide by all external and internal regulations and policies. This includes NCAA, GLIAC and national affiliations associated within athletics or other role specific regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Preferred to be work study eligible and have a valid social security card. International students are still encouraged to apply.
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours as an undergraduate student or 3 credit hours as a graduate student while meeting the standards of academic progress.
- Pursuing a degree in marketing, sports marketing or sport management.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately and effectively with computerized data systems (PC and mainframe).
- Excellent interpersonal skills that transcend diverse audiences; communicating to university customers with positive attitudes toward change, confidentiality, and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated problem solving capabilities with a high degree of integrity, ethics, and dedication to the mission of the University.
- Office / Library environment. Prolonged sitting and standing. Use of personal computer and telephone (eye and hand strain).
Moderate lifting requirements (up to 50 lbs.)
Must be able to work weekday evenings and weekends.
