How will you make an impact in this role?
The Chief of Staff (Sr. Manager Assistant) is responsible for supporting the Global Head of American Express Travel's Global Strategic Partnerships & Marketing and the organization to deliver on strategic projects geared towards optimizing programs / benefits globally, management of cross-team operations, leadership initiatives and colleague engagement.
This role operates in a dynamic, high-paced environment and requires seamless collaboration across a wide range of business partners both inside and outside of American Express.
This position is an integral part of the team and needs to be very proactive in anticipating and adapting to the needs of the organization.
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Work closely with Executive Assistant &Executive Office to coordinate all office operations & planning
- Provide strategic and analytical support for business planning initiatives : annual strategy plan, reporting, business reviews, budget pacing, and more
- Lead Global Strategic Partnerships and Marketing organization through key activities : annual goal setting, annual performance reviews & calibration, LRP, Leadership Team meetings and other large-scale meetings
- Liase with other executive offices on business deliverables
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong business acumen and independent decision-making ability
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly
- Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to prioritize deliverables to drive results
- Distinguished executive presence and professionalism, confident interacting with senior leaders, and in managing expectations
- Excellent partnership skills with the ability to collaborate with and influence internal across leadership levels
- Exhibited success in structuring and implementing processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sense of humor required
Salary Range : $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
