We are seeking a skilled Die Cast Operator to join our 3rd shift team. This role involves operating die cast and trim press machines to produce aluminum cast parts while ensuring quality standards are met. The operator will assist with die setups, perform basic preventive maintenance, and support safety and 5S initiatives.

Shift : 3rd Shift | 10 : 45 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Key Responsibilities :

Operate all die cast cell equipment, including die cast machines, trim presses, automatic sprayers, extraction equipment, hoists, holding furnaces, tip lubricators, hot oil units, metal loading equipment, robotics, and automated equipment.

Apply die lubricants and remove castings from tools.

Perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs.

Use gauges and complete required paperwork.

Identify and report machine, die, or casting issues.

Maintain quality, safety, productivity, and housekeeping standards.

Support the team by sharing knowledge and assisting with problem-solving.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions.

Basic math skills.

Forklift certification may be required.

Ability to lift 5–75 lbs (use lift assist for heavier parts).

Comfortable working safely around high temperatures (1200–1300°ree;F) and moving machinery.

Good vision and mental alertness for repetitive or detailed tasks.

Work Environment :

Continuous standing, walking, bending, and hand / arm activity.

Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, vibration, noise, and temperature extremes.

Frequent repetitive upper extremity tasks, gripping, and handling of parts.
