Founded in 1999, TheaterMania connects the theater and performing arts industry with a mass consumer audience, comprehensive listings, ticket sales, news, reviews, features, interviews, and video content covering live theater and the performing arts across the United States and in London (via WhatsOnStage).

As a Digital Advertising Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing relationships with existing clients by direct-selling TheaterMania's advertising products. These products include website ads, email blasts, newsletters and social media. You will identify opportunities, listen to client needs, present recommendations, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets. This role requires an understanding of the digital advertising landscape, excellent communication skills, a friendly disposition, and a proven track record in sales. Our primary vertical is theater and live events and our audience is largely made up of people geographically located in N America.
What you'll do :
- Identify new potential digital advertisers and prospect regularly using our tools and cadences
- Open enough pipeline to meet 1.5x your quarterly target
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, making yourself aware of their products and schedules
- Develop and present tailored digital advertising recommendations to existing and new clients using a value-based approach
- Be able to intelligently and fluently speak to our brand, organization and advertising products
- Meet with prospects and clients in person regularly
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful campaign execution and client satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and performance
- Be able to forecast accurately and with detail and present your plan in front of fellow team members.
