Overview of the Controller role :
- Complete closings of monthly and annual financial records
- Prepare monthly financial statements, annual audits, and annual budgets
- Report to management and financial committee the reasons for any major budget / forecast variance
- Collaborate partner to the President of the organization
Preferred Qualifications for the Controller :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Current or prior non profit industry experience
- Collaborate mindset to work with President and Board of Directors
