At SUPERSTRUCTURES, we don’t fill positions we build careers. We’re seeking Project Engineers with 5+ years of experience and an interest in the art and science of building envelope restoration.

We are a prolific, award-winning E / A firm dedicated to the preservation and renewal of NYC’s buildings and infrastructure.

We work on significant and challenging projects, including courthouses, schools, universities, churches, housing, hospitals, parking structures, and many of New York's most storied landmarks for the region’s premier public, corporate, and residential clients.

Our focus is buildings' skin and skeleton, embracing all components of the building envelope and underlying structural systems facades, roofs, windows, and plazas and the full complement of materials, from historic terra cotta to high-performance curtain walls.

We consistently produce construction documents that have been called the Gold Standard by our clients.

About You

You are a Project Engineer with 5+ years’ experience in exterior restoration, or a closely related discipline.

You have the ability to direct a team that produces construction documents that live up to our industry-leading standard.

Talent, dedication, and passion for building restoration is a must, and we’ll help you build on that foundation.

About the Position

You’ll direct a team of 2 - 4 on multiple, simultaneous projects from inception through completion : investigation, construction documents, bid negotiation, and construction administration, including primary client contact.

You'll take on greater responsibility as you gain experience.

You’ll work within a studio that offers the dual advantages of a small office environment coupled with access to the centralized resources of a larger firm.

You'll be supported by some of the most sophisticated technology in the profession, including proprietary computer systems and software, advanced photography, reality capture, and image processing, artificial intelligence, digital asset management, and state-of-the-art, non-destructive diagnostic equipment and techniques.

Our Wall Street home is in the landmarked former Bankers Trust Company Building (Trowbridge & Livingston, 1912). The bright, spacious office on the 25th floor has high ceilings and views of lower Manhattan in four directions.

We’re easily accessible via public transportation : the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, R, W, J, Z, lines all stop within a few blocks of our building.

NYC Ferry access at Pier 11 is at the foot of Wall Street and the PATH World Trade Center station is nearby.
