Piper Maddox have recently been engaged by one of the US’ most prestigious Renewable Energy Construction business in an effort to help build out their Electrical Design and Estimation team.
This organization have been operating for almost two decades and have completed Commercial Solar projects across the US & Globe.
Their product provides their customers with an end-to-end solution, coupled with their industry leading customer service means they are widely regarded as one of the industries leaders.
From day 1 you will be inheriting a team of 3 (with plans to increase the teams headcount by 45%), working closely with various teams internally including Operations, Sales and Project Management.
In this position, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Manager & Estimation Expert to join the team, your primary responsibilities will include :
- Responsible for the design and implementation of the workflow, ensuring all tasks are aligned with the overall strategy of the group / company.
- Collaborate with the sales teams to ensure all estimates are aligned to customer expectations.
- Leading multiple teams.
- Build and guide the teams through the implementation of new procedures and processes.
The ideal background will look similar too :
- A minimum of 4 years experience working as a Electrical design Engineer or Electrical Estimator on Renewable Energy Projects.
- A background working on Commercial (C+I) scale Solar projects, familiarity with all Electric codes (National Electric Codes, various building codes, Industry and Engineering standards).
- A track record leading, building and growing Engineering teams.
- Background working within the Solar Construction industry.
- Experience working directly with clients & suppliers, communication skills need to reflect this.
