What we need

As a Technical Project Manager at COCC you will hold a key position in overseeing the delivery and completion of technical projects and solutions.

Reporting directly to the Project Operations Supervisor, you will manage multiple projects and project assets across several specialized technical teams, engage with clients and vendors, troubleshoot complex issues, participate in process improvement and development, and maintain documentation.

This role will require strong communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

A thorough understanding of emerging technologies and trends including cloud hosted applications (Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Slack, Smartsheet) and virtualized computing environments is an integral part of the position.

What you’ll do

  • Manage multiple technical projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project assets including project plans, dashboards, reports and timelines.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product owners and stakeholders.
  • Actively monitor project progress while proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project timelines to ensure flexibility and delivery of project deliverables within the specified timeframe.
  • Communicate project status updates to engineers, stakeholders and members of the management and executive teams.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including internal kick-offs, external kick-offs, status updates and lessons learned sessions.
  • Manage repository of project documentation across multiple platforms including Smartsheet, ServiceNow, and Sharepoint.
  • Stay current with industry trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and contribute to research and development initiatives.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and / or relevant certifications.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role managing technical implementations
  • Technical knowledge of relevant technologies and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project+, CAPM, PMP certifications preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project).

Salary range for this role is $82,500-120,000 Annually
