About the Opportunity :
Life Fitness is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to play a critical role on the Revenue Operations team. Our Senior Pricing Analyst willextract, analyze, and interpret data across multiple data sources to deliver insights and simplify complex business issues.
The Senior PricingAnalyst will provide pricing expertise and collaborate with cross-functional teams and product owners to develop go-to-market strategies, client deal strategies, and multi-year financial planning.
Revenue Operations is a small but impactful team which works with leaders and executives to design pricing solutions, improve our pricing procedures, streamline processes, and drive revenue growth.
Youwill support work streams related to Life Fitness’pricing strategy and broader corporate initiatives, with a focus on client pricing and strategy.
You will help develop pricing frameworks and tools to support our business on our most strategic initiatives. The position requires the ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve business problems, and quickly arrive at recommendations that drive corporate priorities.
Your work will be highly visible to leadership and will drive key insights for management discussions. This position will report to the Senior Director, Revenue Operations.
The Senior Pricing Analyst at Life Fitness will be responsible for :
Preparing and summarizing commercial and customer analysis to identify key trends and communicate business drivers, market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and opportunities forthe Commercial (Sales & Marketing) team
Collecting and analyzing data on current and predicted market conditions, cost overhead,and competitive pricing in order to recommend pricing strategies / standardize pricing guidelines
Balancing customer needs or values with expected product demand to maximize revenue, market share, and most importantly, net EBITDA
Modeling pricing adjustments to predict the impact of pricing changes on organizational performance
Analyze customer accounts and channels for pricing, cost and profitability to determine if marketing program levels are reasonable and / or justifiable
Collaborating closely with business unit finance leaders and corporate FP&A to manage rebate and allowance accruals used in the monthly financial closings for select G / L accounts, help with any reconciliation needed between the marketing system and the general ledger, and assist business teams with any advertising expense that is needed and budgeted in their particular costcenters
Help in the preparation of the annual rebate and allowance budget by working with sales and forecasting, adding insight where applicable
Coordinate and correspond with customers on sales reporting, rebate reporting, claim status and other miscellaneous financial information needed
Cultivating an understanding of sales, marketing, financial and cost accounting, and financial reporting
Maintaining governance, diplomacy, and clear, professional communication skills with both internal and external customers, especially when in confrontational situations or under pressure
A strong ability to self-organize and manage one's own priorities and projects
What we're looking for in our Pricing Analyst (Qualifications) :
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting,or related fieldrequired; MBA
3-5 years of analysis experience within a B2B, Manufacturing organization
Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
Prior experience in a private equity environment
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and bring new perspectives to the table
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to interact with and establish trust and credibility
Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Proficiency in Word and Outlook required and knowledge of PowerPoint, Access and Power BI experience preferred.
Analytical capability with excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple work assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
