Working with us, you will :
- Produce assigned engineering work and document changes to engineering drawings as instructed.
- Assist in-house teams in the evaluation / design of fire protection and alarm systems for projects of various building types.
- Assist project teams in performing building and life safety code analysis for new and existing buildings.
- Assist project teams in generating life safety drawings and narratives.
- Assist more senior engineers with project tasks.
- Apply / Interpret National Building and Fire Codes and Standards to specific projects.
- Perform building conditions assessments and code compliance surveys for existing buildings, under direct supervision.
An ideal candidate has :
- A bachelor’s degree in Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection Engineering or a degree from a Fire Science program
- An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, preferred
- Familiarity with REVIT MEP
- Good written and verbal communication skills
