TRIO SSS Project Manager / Director
Pitt-Bradford is seeking a dedicated Program Manager / Director of its TRIO SSS program. As the TRIO SSS Program Manager / Director, you will play a pivotal role in empowering first generation or low-income students, and students with disabilities to achieve their academic and personal goals.
This is a 12-month, full-time staff position reporting to the Assistant Dean of Academic Success.
Hiring Range : $50,000 to 65,000 annually , commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive advising to TRIO SSS participants
- Administer and evaluate TRIO SSS grant program services and systems, fiscal expenditures and annual reports.
- Supervise, recruit and evaluate three staff members
- Manage the selection, identification, and notification processes of TRIO participants
- Act as primary TRIO SSS contact for the United States Department of Education
Requirements :
- Master's degree required
- At least three years of experience in staff supervision, budget management, program development, evaluation, and compliance with federal regulations
- At least five years of experience with TRIO programs, academic support programs or similar programs
- Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to work effectively with a diverse student population of first-generation, low-income, and disabled college students
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to works as part of a team

Job Summary
Provides direction, oversight, and goal-development for the Student Support Services program and assigned units. Oversees programs and services, advises student groups, and performs various budgetary functions.
Essential Functions
Develop, manage, administer, and evaluate the programs and services of the TRIO SSS program. Assess and counsel students.
Read and write effectively at a graduate level. Communicate with students and professionals with verbal and non-verbal levels of observation.
Use word processing and computer hardware and operate job-related software and other technology.

Physical effort is minimal. Mobility to negotiate the campus is essential
