Reporting to the Executive Director of Athletics and Institutional Branding, the Athletic Office and Media Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the athletic office by coordinating athletic events, overseeing the athletic website and social media accounts, and maintaining accurate department records and files.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the athletic office
- Excel at building relationships with staff, community members, partners, and potential sponsors as the front of house contact
- Ensure policy, procedure, and compliance items are up to date
- Coordinate athletic event logistics, including scheduling, travel for teams, facilities, and equipment
- Analyze goals / objectives to develop customized strategic plan for media management
- Assist in budget management and financial record keeping for the athletic and marketing department including managing all purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, etc.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date department records and files
- Oversee and ensure athletic website and social media accounts are up to date
- Ability to act as lesion with vendors, maintaining accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain accurate reports regarding academic progress and eligibility of all athletes
- Prepare reports as needed regarding athletic and marketing initiatives
- Act as a point of contact for athletic events
- Perform all administrative, supervisory, and management functions as assigned by supervisor
Rate of Pay : $19.76 per hour

Required Qualifications
Associate degree required. Equivalent to two years of college, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience serving in an administrative capacity
- Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and customer service driven
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Workday, and content creation platforms
- Showcase outstanding verbal and written communication with effective follow up
- Ability to take initiative and "make it happen"
- Knowledge of athletic department operations and NJCAA compliance regulations
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in Athletics Administration
- Experience with video and graphic design platforms
