Step into a hands-on leadership role guiding a busy pipe fabrication shop through each day’s build plan. You’ll coordinate crews, align with engineering and project management, and keep safety, quality, and throughput in balance so every spool and weld leaves the shop right the first time.

What you’ll own

• Lead daily shop activities for a team of pipe fabricators and welders to meet schedule commitments.
• Track production flow, remove roadblocks, and drive continuous improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Champion safety standards and ensure a clean, compliant, and hazard-free workspace.
• Coach and develop team members on fabrication and pipe welding techniques, best practices, and workmanship.
• Partner with project managers and engineers to clarify scope, specifications, codes, and priorities.
• Support the creation and revision of pipe design drawings, including layout coordination, drafting updates, and changes driven by engineering or project needs.
• Schedule and perform routine inspections of tools and equipment; coordinate maintenance to keep assets in top shape.
• Maintain accurate production metrics and KPIs; report shop performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify and resolve conflicts or quality issues quickly to keep work moving smoothly.
