We are looking for a passionate and experienced AV Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for both residential and commercial sectors in the AV industry.

This position is a unique blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and project management. The role involves working closely with clients to design and sell audiovisual systems that meet their needs, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the successful implementation of AV solutions.

Responsibilities :

  • Interact with clients to assess their AV needs, provide expert advice, and design tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase the benefits and features of our AV solutions.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for proposed AV solutions, taking into account all relevant factors such as equipment costs, installation expenses, and potential challenges.
  • Manage relationships with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of equipment and services, negotiate pricing, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure that AV systems are implemented successfully and in accordance with the agreed-upon design and timeline.
  • Provide post-sales support to clients, including troubleshooting assistance and training on how to use the AV system.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in the AV industry and use this knowledge to improve our offerings and stay competitive.

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in AV sales engineering or a related role.
  • Proven track record of designing and selling AV solutions to both residential and commercial clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment and systems.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close deals.
  • Experience in preparing detailed and accurate estimates.
  • Strong vendor management skills, with a proven ability to manage relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in using computer software, including sales and design software, spreadsheets, and email.
  • A willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the AV industry.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to client sites.
