Customer Service Associate I

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Customer Service Associate for our Columbus, Ohio location.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for performing all those duties associated with providing excellent customer service to sales representatives, customers, and internal staff.

Such duties include, but are not limited to order entry, invoicing, reporting, and communicating via phone and email. This position will also be responsible for performing other various duties that are assigned by the Administrative Services Manager and Assistant Manager.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma, or equivalent.
• Prior customer service experience (one year preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft software applications such as Outlook, AX, and Excel.
• The ability to multitask successfully in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to communicate professionally with management, sales representatives, customers and co-workers in both written and verbal form.
• Name / number perception skills and the ability to research information using various systems.
• Dependability (i.e. reports to work daily barring any unforeseen circumstances.)
• The successful completion of a ninety 90-day orientation period.

Additional Information

This is a Monday-Friday role. The hours are 10 : 00am-6 : 30pm. After training is complete, this role will by hybrid. Training is on-site.
