At Liken Home Care, we have been providing top-notch care to our clients for 50 years. We are dedicated to hiring the best of the best, and that's why we are seeking experienced and reliable DCWs for our clients with Intellectrual Disabilities.
Our ideal candidates will have knowledge and training in behavioral, redirection, and direct support. We provide service for clients in Washington, Fayette, Greene, Armstrong, Alleghany, and Beaver counties.
Responsibilities :
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication reminders
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents
- Implement care plans and maintain documentation of services provided
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity and privacy are respected
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident information
Experience :
- 1 year paid Experience in home care, direct support, caregiving, childcare, or social work
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
- No high school diploma / GED required
