CornerStone Professional Placement has teamed up with a highly respected client in Fort Worth, TX, in search of a Water Transmission Hydraulics Engineer with experience in the InfoWater system.
In this position, you will take on a leadership role within the organization, potentially as a Group Manager or a recognized expert in engineering or technical aspects related to the water sector.
You will independently apply extensive knowledge in various areas and specialized expertise in water transmission hydraulics and operations.

Responsibilities of the Transmission Hydraulics Engineer :
- Act as a technical specialist, applying advanced concepts, principles, and methods in water transmission hydraulics, operations, modeling, and other broad engineering fields.
- Review project documents for compliance and quality assurance.
- Develop new techniques or improve processes, materials, or products.
- Assist upper-level management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
- Supervise a team of engineers, technical specialists, and technicians.
- Review and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
- Prepare proposals for professional services or funding for engineering projects or programs.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications for the Transmission Hydraulics Engineer :
- 6+ years of engineering experience.
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an ABET / EAC accredited program.
- Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) or Master of Science (M.S.) in a relevant engineering discipline is a plus but not required.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer by the State of Texas, or ability to acquire the license within six months if already licensed in another state.
- Experience in InfoWater modeling.
- Experience in water transmission hydraulic analysis, operations, and modeling.
- Experience supervising a team of engineers, technical specialists, and technicians.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
Compensation for the Transmission Hydraulics Engineer :
- Direct hire.
- Location : Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid role, only on-site Tuesdays, except for meetings).
- Hours : 8 AM 5 PM.
- Pay : $88,800-$133,200 / yr. (Depending on experience).
