Job Summary
As the Director of Product Management, you will lead a dynamic team of product managers dedicated to developing and managing team member-facing technologies.
Your primary responsibilities include overseeing the team, ensuring effective management, and fostering the development of these technologies.
Additionally, you will define and drive strategy and vision, aligning them with MACU’s strategic and operational objectives.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our technology products, ensuring they meet the needs of our team members and support the overall goals of MACU.

SCHEDULE : Full Time
To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.
Leads the Product Management team responsible for the strategic alignment and execution of enterprise team member solutions (e.
g. Learning Management system, Intranet, Knowledge Center, Microsoft 365, Copilot, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Defines and executes short and long term technology product strategy best suited to achieve MACU objectives and initiatives.
- Oversees product team workstreams and product lifecycle, including the creation and execution of new products, enhancements, defect remedies and retirements of existing products.
Champions the overall direction, development and launch of the product.
- Partners and guides Product Managers on vendor and stakeholder relationships, working to ensure all necessary service levels, quality expectations and deliverables are met.
- Acts as an advocate for MACU business owners and members, ensuring all business needs and perspectives are taken into consideration for effective product evolution.
- Considers market solutions and industry best practices for the evaluation of new product and solution needs. Evaluates all usage, cost and efficiency factors to ensure the best fit of proposed technology offerings, regardless of buy vs build approach.
- Works with MACU leaders and employees for cross-functional alignment of products across various business units, such as Engineering, Marketing, Lending, Member Services and all Technology support groups.
- Represents and promotes assigned technology products and associated value in various discussions, forums, and events (user, industry, corporate).
- Identifies opportunities across the product ecosystem (technology, people, process) for efficiency, usability gains and leads the team to define and execute on action plans.
- Defines product metrics, monitors, analyzes and reports on product performance to ensure expected benefits are realized and gaps are remedied.
- Leads the product team on life-cycle management disciplines, practices and methodologies, collaborating with technology groups and business units to continuously improve outcomes.
- Ensures platforms are appropriately architected and deployed to deliver business continuity and disaster recovery objectives, partnering with other Technology resources where needed.
- Identifies and communicates risk and associated mitigation plans to drive awareness and collective decision-making with business partners and leadership.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

- Prominent knowledge of theory and organizational experience through extensive exposure to complex practices across several different disciplines within a function, the profession, and / or industries.

Experience
8+ years of experience in Product Management, with a focus on enterprise scale technology solutions. 5+ years’ leadership experience in a management role, overseeing technology product teams.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information science or related field, or 3 combined years of progressive equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
Licenses, Certifications, Registrations
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Product Management certification a plus.
Managerial Responsibility
Has leadership / managerial responsibilities that are direct or through work leaders or assistants, typically with a subordinate group of 3 to 10 employees.
Estimates personnel needs and assigns work to meet these needs. Supervises, coordinates and reviews the work of assigned staff.
Computer / Office Equipment Skills
Demonstrated proficient skills with Microsoft 365 for corporate use, including Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Physical Demands : Ability to sit, talk and hear consistently; Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or reach occasionally.

Weight Lifted or Force Exerted : Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally; may need to lift up to 50 pounds.
Environmental : There are no unusual environmental factors (such as a typical office).
Noise Environment : Moderate noise (business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
