SUMMARY :
Lead the Supply Chain group to execute seamless capacity planning, inventory management and operational, supplier and customer planning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Ownership of integrated supply chain for AVS NA
Leads SIOP process (Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning) for capacity and operations purposes
Manage corporate Supply Chain Group
Key owner for inventory optimization / reduction
Oversight / Dotted line over supplier resourcing execution
Dotted line over Plant Schedulers
- Manage product flow to maintain customer schedules.
- Always think safety and monitor all safety programs.
- Establish all training procedures within your department for quality, safety and process.
- Communicate and explain all company and department policies and goals.
- Communicate all employee concerns to your Human Resource Manager.
- Establish personnel requirements for your department to maintain customer orders and achieve company goals.
- Participate in the hiring of all department personnel.
- Participate in the evaluation of all department employees.
- Establish housekeeping plans for your department and monitor.
- Analyze and propose methods for efficiency improvements.
- Monitor weekly inventory levels and drive actions to reduce inventory dollars on hand
- Continue to drive cost reductions (transportation, waste elimination)
- Report monthly expedites dollars spend, per month
- Review customer monthly scores (DDL, SMART) and report any discrepancies
- Conduct monthly reviews with warehouse

Must have good computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MRP systems. Inventory management, capacity planning, scheduling, customer systems and supplier management in a manufacturing environment.
EDUCATION & / or EXPERIENCE :
Bachelors or master's in supply chain or equivalent MBA preferred; and 5 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 2 years of college or management related training, Minimum of 5 years work experience, Minimum of 2 years management experience.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Basic level math skills and the ability to use them in Microsoft Excel. Need to be able to catch numbers and estimations that don’t make sense.
COMPUTER SKILLS :
Proficient with MS Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and process several abstract and concrete variables.
