Pharmacy Technician Contract Role | Overland Park, KS

Term : 3-month contract with possible extension

Hours : MondayFriday, 9 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM

A well-established specialty pharmacy in Overland Park is seeking a reliable Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule and the potential to extend based on performance and business needs.

Minimum Requirements :

Active Kansas Pharmacy Technician License

PTCB Certification

At least 1 year of recent pharmacy experience

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain cleanliness of the pharmacy; document temperature logs twice daily

Receive and process deliveries (couriers, FedEx, UPS)

Follow DSCSA procedures for receiving drug shipments

Includes lifting and moving coolers weighing up to 50 pounds

Input inventory into tracking systems and store products appropriately

Monitor stock levels; restock and submit supply requests as needed

Prepare and label medications and supplies for :

Home infusion patients

Hemophilia treatments

Pack and prepare orders for overnight shipping

Assemble and pack shipping coolers with temperature-sensitive medications

Conduct scheduled chart audits each quarter

File documents in physical patient charts and assign electronic records using CPR+ system
