Today, we are at the forefront of American defense technology, developing a unified platform that integrates fragmented technologies such as sensors, cameras, radar, and drones into sophisticated mission systems.

Our technology is deployed globally, supporting customers including the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, CAL FIRE, PG&E, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and many others.

About this role

As a Chief of Staff at Picogrid, you will lead initiatives in capture, sales, engineering, and core operations. You will work independently to deliver business-critical milestones, prepare high-quality written materials, support business development activities, lead cross-team planning and manage relationships with B2B partners.

We are looking for someone who brings high energy, empathy and analytical skills.

In this role, you'll

Lead various cross-functional projects, particularly overseeing Picogrid’s relationships with B2B and government partners.

Create high-quality written content such as presentations, white papers, and articles to bolster sales, marketing, and operational activities.

Gain a thorough understanding of Picogrid’s products, mission, and roadmap to effectively communicate how they meet the critical mission requirements of defense clients.

Manage project and admin tasks, including federal contract deliverables, procurement, and accounts receivable / payable.

You have an exceptional foundation in defense technology and an understanding of how government customers develop, procure, and sustain cutting-edge technology

You are proactive and take ownership, eager to launch projects and seek constructive feedback.

You are analytical but also a people person, adept at forming connections and understanding diverse perspectives.

Some types of experiences we're especially excited to see :

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferably computer science, engineering, or natural sciences) is required.

You are a power user of PowerPoint, Google Slides, and other productivity tools.

You took computer science coursework in college and / or have coded before.

You have at least one year of experience in Management Consulting, Business Development, or similar roles, ideally within a leading defense technology firm.

You possess deep market insights within the Defense and Intelligence sectors, particularly in areas such as Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2), intelligence, and tactical communications.

Active or eligibility to obtain a US Government Security Clearance, noting that such clearances are only granted to US citizens.
