Occupational Therapist

Details about this opportunity :

• NYS Occupational Therapist (OTR L) licensed provider - COTAS are welcomed to apply
• Location : Mahopac, NY (placement in a facility)
• Part-Time, Fee for Service
• Fee for Service Compensation : $60-$70 hour service
• Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license / certifications held

Responsibilities :

• Design and implement creative individual and / or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families / school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP / IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend / teleconference initial CPSE / CSE meetings and / or annual reviews.

And this background :

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License
• Bilingual is a plus
