Job Title : Fire Alarm Drafter / Designer

Our client, a commercial Fire Protection Service organization, is looking to hire a Fire Alarm Drafter / Designer to join their team in Burr Ridge, IL.
The Fire Alarm Drafter / Designer is responsible for laying out and drafting fire alarm systems that meet the client’s requirements.
Responsibilities include :
- Ability to read project contract drawings for design / build fire alarm systems.
- Use AutoCAD and other tools to create fire alarm design drawings and fire alarm submittal documents for permitting.
- Meet projected submittal deadlines per the project schedule and be able to handle multiple projects at any given time.
Requirements / Qualifications :
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Experience in Low Voltage Electrical
- NICET Certification is a plus
- Previous experience with Commercial Building systems
- Experience with Notifier Alarm Systems is a plus but not required
