- In collaboration with the commercial team and other functions, proactively identify, build and action sales strategies to pursue new business opportunities at existing and new accounts.
- Develop, foster and sustain strong strategic connections with important customers and those involved in the business within procurement, operations, production and scientific fields.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities and historical purchasing behaviors and products to identify significant opportunities in spend which can be converted into sales within the channel.
- As requested, support further development and articulation of the Fisher Scientific Production value proposition, including components attributable to the broader Thermo Fisher Scientific enterprise
Job Requirements :
- Minimum of 8 years experience in sales or business development
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the production products and services industry
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Successfully thrives in a fast-paced and driven environment
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in the sciences. An MBA is advantageous.
