You are the dynamic, professional Revenue Cycle Manager we are looking for. In a full time capacity, you will be responsible for all functions and operations in Revenue Cycle.
Including, supervision of accounts receivable support staff, to include client center billing to patients, third party insurance, credentialing and contracting with payers and providers, and bad debt collections.
This position will include up to 10% travel as needed.

Revenue Cycle Manager Key Responsibilities :
- Directly supervise staff responsible for client, contract and third party billing, prior authorization, enrollment, support staff training and bad debt collection.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees, performance appraisals and addressing performance concerns.
- Responsible for all monies applied in Accounts Receivable Department.
- Organize and develop a system to deliver supportive services in a manner which will ensure maximum quality and efficiency.
This will involve the development of internal procedures for Accounts Receivable duties and organizing the duties and responsibilities to meet these standards.
- Serves in consultative capacity with other staff and programs with regard to accounts receivables issues.
- Involvement in meetings with other managers, supervisors, or team leaders with regard to issues involving support staff functions and identifying issues which need to be addressed, updated and / or changed.
- Coordination with support staff throughout Indiana to ensure consistency in center procedures.
- Direct supervision of support services in revenue cycle to include developing standards for the performance of receivables staff and evaluation of those staff relative to standards.
- Ensures timeliness and accuracy of information related to aggregate and individual accounts receivable.
- Accurately maintain patient financial records in accordance with policy.
- Direct and delegated responsibility for processing monthly statements, third party claims and any related correspondence.
- Overall responsibility for maintenance of all financial and administrative files in Accounts Receivables Department.
- Maintains a working knowledge of center administrative and clinical procedures.
- Communication with other agencies and third party sources with regard to receivable issues.
- Maintains inventory and is involved in purchase of equipment and supplies for receivables department.
- Keeps informed of new procedures / updates with regard to third party sources and advise staff and implement updates as they occur.
- Maintains working knowledge of all policies and procedures.
- Some travel may be required.
- Perform all duties in acceptable manner consistent with policies and procedures.
- Chair committee meetings
- Create training material for disbursement
- Ensures Meridian Health Services remains FQHC compliant with all financial / Billing policies
- Maintains yearly Sliding Fee Scale based on current Federal Poverty Level in compliance with HRSA
- Keeps Revenue Cycle policies in compliance with HRSA & DMHA requirements
- Reviews charge master and establishes charges for new CPT codes
- Participates in the review of payer contracts
- Establishes and maintains a contractual allowance model for payers
We are seeking Revenue Cycle Manager candidates with the following qualities :
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising an accounts receivables department required
- Valid driver’s license, a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
