Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving professional to join our team at our facility in Sterling Heights, MI.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
Responsibilities :
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
- Pack and ship outgoing orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies in shipments
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications :
- Prior experience in shipping and receiving preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of shipping software and systems
