Directs and oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical and administrative plans, methods and procedures for program components and overall assessments of clinical activity.
Oversees quality of care, patient experience, clinical and financial performance. Ensures program compliance with regulatory requirements and maintains quality standards.
Job Responsibility
- Leads a Behavioral Health group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.
- Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
- Develops, implements and oversees administrative methods and procedures.
- Develops and oversees program components and overall assessments of clinical activity.
- Reports operational performance, justification and / or corrective actions.
- Coordinates program structure including scheduling of admission of new patients, therapy sessions, activities, and vocational services to chemically dependent clients.
- Develops supporting services for families of client population.
- Collaborates to develop both the narrative and fiscal aspects of the budget.
- Monitors expenditures to ensure operations are within budgetary limits.
- Oversees the ordering of program supplies from purchasing.
- Ensures development of Nursing care standards, and effective plan for delivery of nursing care within the methadone clinic.
- Ensures compliance with hospitals and regulatory agencies pertaining to patient care and medical records.

Job Qualification
- Master of Science required, or comparable experience.
- Current License to practice as a Mental Health Counselor in New York State, or Current License to practice as a Master Social Worker required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 8-12 years of technical experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
- OR Doctor of Psychology required, or comparable experience.
- Current License to practice as a Psychologist in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
