Job Title : Cycle Instructor
Description : Speer YMCA branch is currently looking for a part-time experienced cycle instructor for evening hours (5pm.
and later) . The ideal candidate will lead engaging and motivating cycling classes, promote a positive fitness environment, and help participants achieve their fitness goals.

Essential Functions :
- Plan and develop dynamic cycling classes tailored to various fitness levels, incorporating different styles.
- Lead group cycling sessions, providing clear guidance on techniques, safety, and form while creating a fun and encouraging atmosphere.
- Inspire and motivate participants through positive reinforcement and personalized attention, fostering a sense of community within the class.
- Ensure the proper setup and maintenance of cycling equipment, and monitor class safety protocols to create a secure environment for all participants.
- Evaluate participants' progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their individual fitness goals.
- Build rapport with members, addressing their needs and concerns while promoting additional fitness programs and services.
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Requires HS diploma or equivalent
- Be available for evening shifts 5pm and later
- Current cycle instructor certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching cycling classes in a fitness or wellness environment.
- Strong understanding of cycling techniques, fitness principles, and injury prevention.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills to engage and inspire participants.
- Ability to demonstrate cycling techniques and maintain a high level of fitness.
Pay & Perks : $17-$24 / hour, depending on experience / certifications. Free individual YMCA membership for employee and discount for family.
