Hire Resolve is a leading staffing and recruitment agency, specializing in placing professionals in various industries. Our client, a prestigious law firm located in Charlotte NC, is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join their Accounts Payable department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a background in accounting and a passion for the legal industry to join a highly reputable firm.
Responsibilities
- Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Prepare and execute payments to vendors, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all AP transactions
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting
- Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment preferred
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
