Job Description

  • Lead the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Conduct interviews, reference checks, and coordinate with hiring managers.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations practices.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the HRIS.
  • Train staff on the new system and ensure data accuracy and security.
  • Continuously improve HRIS functionality and user experience.
  • Lead the initiative to transition HR operations to a paperless environment.
  • Develop and implement a detailed project plan, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate digital solutions.
  • Supervise the HR Specialist, providing guidance and support.
  • Manage employee records, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Conduct training sessions and professional development programs.
  • Ensure all HR practices align with the institution's mission and values.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HRIS implementation.
  • Strong project management skills, particularly in transitioning to paperless systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and current labor laws.
  • Experience in a cultural or non-profit institution is a plus.
